Describe yourself in one word –
Crazy!

What super power would you like to have –
Great wisdom. Like Galadrial.

What kind of books do you read for pleasure –
YA fantasy

What compelled you to write this book –
It’s the third and final installment to the Ian’s Realm Trilogy inspired by the nine foot dragon, some walks in the park, a sailing trip on a tall ship, walking a mile down a lava tube, and NaNoWriMo

What do you do to keep yourself going when you aren’t motivated?
I stop if I’m not motivated. But seldom am I not motivated to write. I don’t get enough time to write.

Which comes first the chicken or the egg… I mean the plot or the characters?
They both come at the same time.

When you set your characters do you use character bios/ sketches or do your characters just land on the page?
Oh my notes look like a psychologist’s journal.

How old were you when you finished your first book?
62

How long did it take you to write it?
Six months to a year really.

If you could do everything over (writing your book, or publishing, etc.) would you change anything?
Yeah…but I wouldn’t want to start over again. I’ll take off from where I’m at. That first book is pretty rough!

Thank you so much for sharing with us, Dianne! Please share your bio and links to your books!
